Storytime for children and parents
1 in 6 new Aussie parents suffer from perinatal depression and anxiety. It can be hard to read the signs, let alone talk about it. So we turned the one time parents actually do talk – story time – into a way of helping them recognise and address their symptoms. We developed, wrote and illustrated the ‘Bunny Books’. Each Bunny Book is an insightful cognitive behavioural exercise delicately woven into a simple, engaging story, with an invitation to speak with the Gidget Foundation Australia directly for more support.
